What is ShareASale?

ShareASale is one of the largest affiliate networks, connecting publishers (you) with thousands of merchants across every niche.
It’s especially popular in the fitness space — brands like Bodybuilding.com, Reebok, Fanatics, and hundreds of supplement companies run their affiliate programs through ShareASale.
Commissions vary by merchant but are often higher than Amazon — many fitness brands offer 8–15% or flat-rate bounties.
ShareASale is free to join. You apply once to the network, then apply individually to each merchant program you want to promote.
Payments are made monthly via direct deposit or check, with a $50 minimum payout threshold.

Step-by-Step Signup

1Go to shareasale.com and click “Affiliate Sign Up” at the top.
2Enter your website URL — this is the primary site ShareASale will review. Your links.fitness/username URL works here.
3Fill in your personal and contact information.
4Choose your primary country and enter your mailing address.
5Create your username and password for the ShareASale dashboard.
6Describe your promotional methods (content marketing, social media, email, etc.).
7Agree to the terms of service and submit your application.
8Check your email for a confirmation link — you’ll typically get approved within 1–2 business days.

Tips for Approval

Make sure your website looks professional and has at least 5–10 pieces of published content.
Clearly focus your site on a niche — “fitness product reviews” is much stronger than a generic blog.
Don’t use a free subdomain (e.g. myblog.wordpress.com) — a custom domain shows you’re serious.
After joining the network, you’ll still need to apply to individual merchant programs. Write a short, honest note about why you’re a good fit for each one.
Some merchants auto-approve affiliates; others review manually and may take a few days.
Include an FTC disclosure page on your site — many merchants check for this. links.fitness automatically displays an FTC disclosure on every page, and you can add custom text in your dashboard settings.

Getting Your Affiliate Links

Log in to the ShareASale dashboard and browse or search for merchant programs to join.
Once approved by a merchant, go to Links → Get Links to generate your tracking URLs.
You can create text links, banner links, or deep links to specific product pages.
Each link includes your unique affiliate ID so the merchant can attribute sales to you.
ShareASale also offers a bookmarklet tool that lets you generate links while browsing a merchant’s site.
The “Make-A-Page” tool lets you build product showcase pages automatically, but for links.fitness you’ll just need the direct URLs.

Using Your Links on links.fitness

Copy your full ShareASale affiliate link from the dashboard.
In your links.fitness dashboard, click “Add Product” and paste the link in the URL field.
Add the product name, a short description, an image, and a category.
ShareASale links often look long — that’s normal. Your link is served directly to visitors without modification.
Track your click performance in your links.fitness analytics, and check ShareASale’s reporting for sales and commissions.
